Hello my name is Nicole...
...I was born in the Dominican Republic and I grew up most of my life in New York. From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to creativity. I graduated college with a Bachelors in fine arts and a minor in art history. After getting an opportunity to work at a school as a paraprofessional, I started doing my co-workers’ nails after hours, and what began as a hobby turned into a passion. I made the decision to create a business plan. I came home, searched Pinterest for photos of the life I want for myself and the woman I want to become, and I created my vision board—which I still have to this day. Little by little, my life is starting to look more and more like the images I had printed.
From that time until now, I have changed a lot. One thing I know for sure is that I am capable of
achieving anything I set my mind to. With God by my side, everything is possible. I let go of the
fear of failure, because in the end, life isn’t as serious as we make it seem. I am here to make
mistakes and grow from them, to be a little better every day than I was yesterday—both as a
nail tech and as a person. I’m always trying to find balance and learn: new ideas, new
techniques, new lessons. I feel so blessed to have found a career that truly brings me joy and
fulfillment.
